Operational Risks:

  1. Special Risks (Kidnap, Extortion, Product Adulteration): we are included in Lloyds and AIG policies (one of roughly 10 firms worldwide).
  2. Advance due diligence: we research people and businesses in support of legal and financial due diligence, and executive recruitment.
  3. Corporate investigations and litigation support: we have involvement in many high profile cases, with a low profile for RMI, unless required to give evidence.
  4. Incident management: Events we have responded to include loss of data (i.e. stolen or lost computers leading to Data Protection issues), theft of board papers / business information, threats to critical infrastructure, asset recovery, product extortion, terrorist threat (Middle East, Asia, Africa) . Prevention is better than cure. We also run 2/3 exercises per month for major companies across all sectors and covering all topics. The emphasis here is on testing contingency plans and the preparedness of people.
  5. Business and Supply Chain Continuity Management: we work with utility companies and global brand owners in developing and testing the efficacy of their business and supply chain continuity plans.

Financial Investigations:

  1. Asset Search: Prior to working with RMI our people searched for and recovered assets from organised crime gangs and terrorist organisations. This capability and our network of international contacts and relationships positions RMI as Ireland’s leading asset search and recovery service provider. Our customers include the Banks, leading Litigators and Liquidators.
  2. Litigation Support: Given our professional backgrounds and understanding of legal requirements and obligations RMI financial investigators can discover information more quickly than using traditional discovery methods.

Our core experience and capabilities can be used for a variety of customer needs including:
